The Situation
The Coach House is a lovely old cottage, nestled in beautiful, tranquil surroundings.   Situated down a quiet country road, leading on the one hand to the charming little village of Marhamchurch and on the other to the tiny ancient market town of Stratton, steeped in history and famous for the Battle of Stamford Hill, in the Sixteenth Century.
The Accommodation

Coach House is fenced securely for children, with a large gravel Parking area alongside.   Gates from the cottage lead to a large grassy area surrounded by trees.   Relax on the fantastic wooden decking, ideal for barbecues and sunbathing.   This overlooks a picturesque   small lake and waterfall, home to wild ducks, moorhens and the shy kingfisher.

The large, yet cosy cottage, sleeps eight people (a ninth possible on a Z-bed).   There are two double bedrooms overlooking the gardens and lake and two twin bedrooms.   Three of the bedrooms have hand-basins.   There is a shower room/loo, plus a separate loo also.

The kitchen/diner, with large inglenook fireplace, has a double –ovened cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, another fridge and a washing-machine.   A gorgeous wood-burning stove heats the spacious, comfortable sitting-room and there is a heater in all the bedrooms.

Weekly prices are inclusive of logs and electricity.   (Bring your own bed-linen/towels).
