Situation |

|
The
Coach House is a lovely old cottage, nestled in beautiful,
tranquil surroundings.
Situated down a quiet country road, leading on the one hand
to the charming little village of Marhamchurch and on the other to
the tiny ancient market town of Stratton, steeped in history and
famous for the Battle of Stamford Hill, in the Sixteenth Century.

Coach
House is fenced securely for children, with a large gravel Parking
area alongside.
Gates from the cottage lead to a large grassy area
surrounded by trees.
Relax on the fantastic wooden decking, ideal for barbecues
and sunbathing.
This overlooks a picturesque
small lake and waterfall, home to wild ducks, moorhens and
the shy kingfisher.
The
large, yet cosy cottage, sleeps eight people (a ninth possible on
a Z-bed).
There are two double bedrooms overlooking the gardens and
lake and two twin bedrooms.
Three of the bedrooms have hand-basins.
There is a shower room/loo, plus a separate loo also.
The
kitchen/diner, with large inglenook fireplace, has a double –ovened
cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, another fridge and a
washing-machine.
A gorgeous wood-burning stove heats the spacious,
comfortable sitting-room and there is a heater in all the
bedrooms.
Weekly
prices are inclusive of logs and electricity.
(Bring your own bed-linen/towels).

Directions
Approach
from the Atlantic Highway A39 (Wadebridge – Bude Road)
Cann
Orchard is 1 mile from Marhamchurch which is sign-posted on the
A39, 2 miles south of Bude.
Once in Marhamchurch, take the left-hand turning opposite
the Buller’s Arms Hotel (Hobbacott Road), follow this road for
half-a-mile and turn left (sign-posted to Stratton) and Cann
Orchard is half-a-mile along on the right.

The
popular seaside resort of Bude is only 1½ miles away, famous for
its sandy beaches and surfing.
It
provides excellent shopping facilities, a wide range of inns,
restaurants and entertainment.
Explore
the rugged beauty of the North Cornish coastline or wander in the
enchanting countryside.
The haunting beauty of the moors of Bodmin, Dartmoor and
Exmoor are in easy reach.
King Arthur’s romantic ruined cliff-top castle, at
Tintagel, is a thirty minute drive to the south.
Surfing, sea fishing, horse riding and golf are all
available within a two mile radius.
Children
are very welcome at the farm and often enjoy feeding the pigs,
chickens and goats.
Guests can also enjoy fishing for Rudd in the two small
lakes.
You
are assured the warmest of welcomes at Cann Orchard.
