The Situation

A former Coach House forming part of the 'Truthan Estate' dating from 1850 and a grade ll listed building. It is set in an acre of its own grounds overlooking mature trees and parkland, offering peace and privacy. There is excellent access to the main A30 trunk road and the whole of central Cornwall with all its visitor attractions.
The property offers high quality bed & breakfast accommodation for the whole year except August, at which time the whole house is let for self catering.
The catered accommodation is limited to one spacious bedroom which has its own adjoining luxury bathroom. It also benefits from having its own private entrance just adding that little extra privacy.
The self catering accommodation sleeps up to 8 persons and comprises of 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms and four reception rooms.
For details of both self catering and bed & breakfast click on the links above.

Locally
The Coach-house is situated mid way between the coastal resort of Newquay and Cornwall's only city, Truro. It is in a quiet rural location but within an easy drive of numerous attractions, as a rough guide:

Perranporth - one of the best beaches in Cornwall, just 5 miles away.
Newquay - Cornwall's premier holiday resort, superb beaches, extensive night life, water park, zoo, numerous pubs/restaurants/tea rooms, just 7 miles away.
St Ives - Another very popular resort, does not have the night life but boasts a picturesque little town with cobbled streets, lovely harbour and long stretches of golden sand. Not forgetting it's many art galleries including the Tate. approx. 40 mins drive.
Falmouth - Just 15 miles away with the National Maritime Museum. Situated at the mouth of the River Fal it also offers a wide variety of boat trips on the river which are highly recommended.
Truro City - Just 5 miles away offers excellent shopping, a magnificent Victorian cathedral. The boat trips on the Truro River are also worth a mention, some of the views between Truro and Falmouth are outstanding and well worth the day out.
Padstow - 18 miles away is another popular destination, quaint little harbour, foot passenger ferry to Rock and fantastic walks along the beach to Daymer Bay. For something more exciting, enjoy a speedboat ride in the estuary, be warned, they are very fast.
St Austell - Eden Project
Lost Gardens of Heligan
Charlestown Tall Ships
The fishing port of Mevagissey
All are approximately 30 minutes away.

The Coach House is in an excellent position for Touring, the above are just a few ideas, most places in the county can be reached within an hour.
How to find us:
From the A30 travelling west. Shortly after by-passing the little village of Summercourt you will approach a wind farm on your right, here there is a large roundabout (Carnon Cross). At the roundabout take the A39 signposted Truro. After approximately 2 miles you will see Rowes Honda Garage on your left, more or less opposite this there is a left turn signposted 'Truthan' Take this turning and we are approx 3/4 of a mile on the left.
