The Rugged Atlantic coast on the West is a walker's paradise, with miles of off road coastal path with breathtaking scenery and home to Padstow where you will find Rick Stein's famous fish restaurant, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel with its Castle remains and the legendry home to King Arthur, and Newquay famous for its surfing beaches, and Jamie Oliver's restaurant fifteen all within 23miles. If you prefer, The Camel Trail goes through Bodmin, it is a 14 mile mainly traffic free cycle path through woodland to Wadebridge and then runs alongside the Camel Estuary onto Padstow. Cycle hire is available in Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow if you prefer a shorter route.
