A very warm welcome awaits you at Castle Canyke Farm in the comfort of a stone built former farm house built in 1850 with many traditional features and set in beautiful landscaped gardens which you are welcome to enjoy anytime or during breakfast which is taken in the conservatory.

On the edge of Bodmin Moor, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a haven for walkers and nature lovers, and within easy reach of Cornwalls many attractions and beaches making Castle Canyke Farm an ideal location in which to explore.

All our rooms are well appointed with luxury furnishings and all have private en-suites with complimentary toiletries and Digital LCD TV/DVDs. Our emphasis is on comfort, individual service and attention to detail making your stay with us special.

Smoking is allowed outside in the gardens, but not in the house.
We cannot accept any pets

All our rooms have private en-suites and are individually decorated with quality fittings and furnishings, and retaining some traditional features but with a twist of modern. All rooms include Digital LCD TV/DVD (DVD and book library), Complementary toiletries, Hospitality trays, Hairdryer, Corkscrew and wine glasses. As we are not licenced to sell alcohol, please feel free to bring your own drinks You are also very welcome to use the drying room and ironing board and iron, and lock up storage is available for those wishing to bring their own bikes.

Attractions & Things to do

Castle Canyke is ideally situated for exploring the rest of Cornwall as it is centrally located between both coastlines and close to all the major road links giving you easy access to many of Cornwalls attractions. Bodmin also has very good rail link if you feel like leaving the car behind.

Bodmin Moor to the East of town is a must for walkers and cyclists and a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. There are many walks to choose from for all levels of fitness, some taking you past our very own stone circle.

Carnglaze Cavern is series of Caverns and underground lake where concerts are held in the evenings. There are also woodland walks, gardens, picnics areas and shop. A guided walk takes around 45mins

The Camel Trail is an 18mile mainly traffic free route based on an disused railway track. The route takes you from Bodmin to Padstow. The very scenic route takes you through Wadebridge, Wonderful woodland and runs along side the Camel Estuary, a bird watcher's paradise, ending in Padstow with magnificent views of the Cornish coastline.
