at Castle Canyke Farm in the comfort of a stone
built former farm house built in 1850, retaining
many traditional features with a twist of modern and
set in ¾ of an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens
which guests are very welcome to enjoy at anytime.
We are situated just ¾ mile from Bodmin town centre,
where you will find restaurants shops and banks.
Bodmin is an old town,
surrounded by woodland and the famous Moors home to
the Jamaica Inn which is an area of outstanding
natural beauty and a haven for walkers, cyclists and
nature lovers. The Camel Trail also runs through the
town, a mainly traffic free cycle path that takes
you to Wadebridge and onto Padstow.
The East and West coasts with an
abundance of beaches are both within easy reach and
the Eden Project is only a 20 minute drive, and
Truro the Cathedral city of Cornwall can be easily
reached by car or train.
Being centrally located and
within easy reach of many of the attractions
Cornwall has to offer, Castle Canyke Farm is an
ideal location from which to explore. |

Attractions & Things to do
Castle Canyke is ideally
situated for exploring the rest of Cornwall as it is centrally
located between both coastlines and close to all the major road
links giving you easy access to many of Cornwalls attractions.
Bodmin also has very good rail link if you feel like leaving the
car behind.
Bodmin Moor
to the East of town is a must for walkers and cyclists and a
haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. There are many walks
to choose from for all levels of fitness, some taking you past
our very own stone circle.
Carnglaze Cavern
is series of Caverns and underground lake where concerts are
held in the evenings. There are also woodland walks, gardens,
picnics areas and shop. A guided walk takes around 45mins
The Camel Trail
is an 18mile mainly traffic free route based on an disused
railway track. The route takes you from Bodmin to Padstow. The
very scenic route takes you through Wadebridge, Wonderful
woodland and runs along side the Camel Estuary, a bird watcher's
paradise, ending in Padstow with magnificent views of the
Cornish coastline.
We will be happy to arrange cycle hire in Bodmin for you.
