Local
attractions:
|
|
Bryally is just a short walk from the village centre and beach.
The village provides all essential services including, a good pub with restaurant, a further good restaurant, bakery, a general store etc.
The village is extremely picturesque, many visitors are in the habit of returning year after year. In fact, many have found it so nice they have retired here.
The beach has soft sand and shelves very gently. The Dodman Point protects it from the prevailing southwest wind. The sea is usually calm and ideal for children, hence its popularity with both visitor and local alike.
Fishing for mackerel, flounder and bass can be enjoyed from the harbour wall at high tide.
Gorran Haven is situated just along the coast from the popular fishing port of Mevagissey to the east and Dodman Point to the west.
There are lovely coastal walks in this area and probably one of its main attractions.

|
Beautiful local cliff walks |

The Lost Gardens of Heligan, 4 miles
The Eden Project, 30 minutes drive
Numerous little bays and headlands
Mevagissey - a popular working fishing harbour with numerous craft/gift shops/ restaurants/pubs/tea rooms. Boat/fishing trips, ferry to Fowey. Gets very busy in high season.
Charlestown with its tall ships and wreck centre.
