About Avalon Guest House

Avalon is a privately owned guest house, situated in a leafy residential part of Newquay, we are only 250 metres from Tolcarne Beach and some half a mile from the town centre.

We have six comfortable ensuite rooms with digital flat screen t.v's and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryers and towels are provided in each room. We offer a full English breakfast and can cater for all dietary needs. We have our own private car park and provide free parking. We are pet friendly with prior notice.

We are some 300 metres from Newquay railway station for those visitors coming by train, and most bus services are close by. Newquay airport is only six miles away and we offer a very reasonably priced ferry service.

The town centre has a variety of shops, and all kinds of eateries can be found to suit everybody's taste. Newquay also has a thriving night life with lots of bars, pubs and clubs.

Avalon Guest House sits opposite Tolcarne and Great Western, which are two of Newquay's eight sandy beaches. The famous Fistral surfing beach and picturesque harbour are only minutes away.

All prices are per person per night. Family rooms available on request. Bank holiday rates £35 per person per night.
Children 12 years or over charged adult rate. Children under 12 years prices according to age.


Booking Terms and Conditions
A deposit of £25 per person per week is required to secure a booking. This may be made by Cheque/Postal Order. Payment for accommodation should be made on arrival or within 24 hours of arrival.

Rooms are available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival. Luggage may be left earlier if required. Rooms should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. We regret that no allowances can be made for rooms not occupied, or meals not taken during the period of the booking.
Please Note: All bedrooms are no smoking.

Meal Times Breakfast  8.45 - 9.15 am
Holiday Cancellation Deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation unless covered by Holiday Insurance. In the event of cancellation of your booking we will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. However if we are unable to do so, you may be charged the total cost of your booking. All cancellations should be made by telephone, followed by a written confirmation of cancellation.

Finding the Avalon Guest House
By road from Bodmin (A30) to Quintrell Downs, at roundabout turn right (A3058) signposted Newquay, St Columb Minor, Porth. Upon reaching Newquay you will reach two mini roundabouts, continue ahead on the A3058 for about a mile, as the sea comes into view on your right look out for the white Rocklands building, turn left opposite into Edgcumbe Avenue, take your next left into Edgcumbe Gardens and we are located about 100 metres on your left.
