The Situation

Arches was originally part of an old Victorian boys school built in the early 1900's, which has been renovated into Bed & Breakfast accommodation, comprising of large and spacious en-suite rooms and a guest dinning room. Guests also have the use of our conservatory and patio. The Green room with it's grand luxurious four poster bed and the red room our twin have great views overlooking the via duct Bridge and woodland area. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, sky freesat colour TV and their own silent mini fridges. Our Breakfast menu is quite extensive and we also supply a picnic menu at a small extra charge if required.  

We are STRICTLY a NON SMOKING establishment

We are just a ten minute walk from the town centre with public houses, cinema and bowling alley and seven minutes to the Waterwheel Restaurant which is Ideal for excellent evening meals.

The Eden Project is just 4 miles away and we are the perfect B&B for cyclists because we are on the main new cycle route to Eden. We also supply storage space for bikes.

The Lost Garden of Heligan is only 5 miles away with it's stunning jungle garden and woodland walks then Pine Lodge Gardens which has many themes is only 2 miles.

For stately home or National Trust lovers Lanhydrock House (NT) is a must see. There are also many coastal beaches near by with charlestown and It's tall Galleon ships being the closest.

To Further your horizon you can find Bodmin Moor with it's lovely views and great picnic areas plus, we are only twenty minutes to Fowey, Mevigissey thirty minutes from Truro, Falmouth. and 40 minutes to Padstow.

 

The Accommodation


THE GREEN ROOM is a deluxe en-suite kingsize luxurious four poster bed which overlooks the woodland & viaduc area.

THE BLUE ROOM is a very grand kingsize carved bed with an en-suite. This is a very calming room with all different speciesof birds coming to your window.

THE RED ROOM is a twin bedded room with it's own private bathroom. This too overlooks the woodland & viaduc area.

All rooms have  freesat television, your own Silent mini fridge complete with ice box, hair dryer and refreshment tray with tea & coffee.
