from the rail, bus and coach station where there is a regular
bus service to The Eden Project.

There are two bedrooms:
A double room, this has its own private adjoining bathroom which
is equipped with a large corner bath with hand held shower,
toilet, bidet and wash basin.
A twin bedded room, again, this has its own adjoining bathroom
which is equipped with a walk in shower, toilet and wash basin.

Breakfast is served in a light airy dining room with separate
tables.
Enjoy the full Aga-cooked English breakfast together with a
range of cereals, fruit, juices, yoghurts and tea or freshly
made coffee. Special diets are catered for on request.
As an option, packed lunches can be provided on request if
breakfast is not required, alternatively they can be provided at
an extra cost.

Directions:
A390 St Austell By-Pass travelling west. You will see a large
Asda supermarket on your left. At this roundabout turn right,
you are then in Woodland Road. Go to the end of this road to a
mini roundabout system and turn left, you are then in Alexandra
Road. Continue up the hill for approximately 200 yards and you
will see No. 43 on your right. Pull into the private parking
area in front of the house.
Locally:
Ideally situated for rail travel.
Charlestown with its tall ships, maritime museum, pubs and
restaurants is just a 20 minute walk
Swimming baths - just a short walk
The town centre - a short walk
Good pubs and restaurants within a short drive
St Austell is central to the whole of Cornwall and most places
can be reached within an hour's drive.
St Austell is now recognised as being the home of The Eden
Project, this is about 15 minutes away.
Mevagissey
- this popular picturesque little fishing village is just 15
minutes away.
Fowey - a lovely little town at the mouth of the River Fowey
Beaches - there are some excellent beaches, a complete list with
pictures and description is available with a link at the front
of this website.
Touring:
In Cornwall, nowhere is far, and from St Austell virtually
anywhere, except perhaps the very far west can be reached within
an hours drive.
Examples:
St Mawes
and the whole of the Roseland Peninsula - 40 minutes
Truro, the counties only city is just 20 minutes, nice shops,
magnificent cathedral and easy to get into.
Newquay
and north coast beaches - 30 minutes (traffic permitting)
Padstow is about 40 minutes.
Your hosts are very familiar with the area and will be only too
pleased to recommend places of interest or that good place to
eat.
