Wheal Merth was once a farmhouse and is well over 200 years old.
As one would expect, it is full of character that only age can
bring, it has been tastefully furnished and decorated in keeping
with this. It is situated approximately ¼ of a mile up a quiet
lane off the main A30 St Ives to Penzance road, very convenient,
as it is out of the hustle and bustle of the major resorts but
only 3 miles from Hayle, 3 miles from Marazion and 6 miles from
the beautiful resort of St Ives.
You are guaranteed a warm welcome at Wheal Merth in a pleasant
family atmosphere offering excellent value accommodation.

very popular bird watching area.

expanse of soft sand, offering safe bathing and because it is
out of the St Ives town area, never gets busy.
Wheal Merth could not really be better placed for touring the
whole of West Cornwall.
The popular resort of St Ives is just 6 miles away, or why not
avoid the traffic and parking, call in locally to the Lelant
Rail Station and catch a train right into the town, it is one of
the most scenic journeys in the country.
