Smeaton Farm is a 450 acre working farm situated within the Duchy of Cornwall. It is run by husband and wife team Richard and Sarah Jones. Located near to Saltash, the farm is moving towards becoming fully organic, both in its arable and livestock activities. Farm fresh meats are available for sale, all of which come from the animals that can be seen grazing on the farm.

The farm is ideally located for those wishing to discover this part of Cornwall, with both Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast and camping facilities available. Guests can enjoy our farm trail, children's play area and picnic area.

Every year the farm is home to the Amazing Cornish Maize Maze which attracts thousands of visitors from far and wide. While the Maze is open the farm offers a variety of additional attractions and activities, including a gift shop, cafe, quizzes and games.

Smeaton Farm is proud to present this years Amazing Cornish Maize Maze. While away a day trying to find your way around our giant maize maze created by Adrian Fisher, who is known worldwide for his fantastic giant mazes.

This years terrifying theme is dinosaurs, so watch out - you never know what you may discover whilst lost in our pre-historic maze! There's something for all the family including mini-mazes, fun quizzes, puzzles and much, much more, all scattered amongst the giant corn stalks.

Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast: Comfortable accommodation is available within the farmhouse all year round.

All rooms have a television, hair drier, tea making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

The rates shown are per room per night and include a choice of breakfasts - Full English, Continental or for something a little different, fresh local fish. All of these can be enjoyed next to an open log fire in our cosy Breakfast Room. A high chair is available.

After this spend time unwinding in our comfortable lounge with it's open fire and gorgeous views of the Cornish countryside.

If you require an evening meal this can be pre-booked at a cost of £15 per person, which includes a complimentary glass of wine.

Home produced food is always used whenever available including beef, pork, lamb, free range eggs and seasonal vegetables.

Facilities

Guests can enjoy the beautiful gardens here at Smeaton Farm, whilst enjoying a true Cornish Cream Tea. The Aberdeen Angus beef cattle, Dorset Horn sheep, and Saddleback & Tamworth pigs can always be seen around the farm. During the summer season guests can also visit our Maize Maze with its gift shop, cafe, quizzes and games.

Camping

If you like to sleep under the stars then perhaps a stay at the Smeaton Farm campsite would suit you? The site is open year round and offers an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions and the Cornish countryside.

Tents and tourers are welcome. There is a shower/toilet room.

The cost per pitch is £10 per night, which includes one pup tent.

Children are welcome but, due to this being a working farm, we regret that pets are not allowed.
