Penhesken Farm is a 600 acre family run dairy farm with a
herd of 270 cows and crops of maize, wheat and barley. The main
building dating back 170 years is full of character with large
spacious rooms.
It is situated down a quiet country lane on the beautiful
Roseland Peninsula.

The accommodation:
Two very comfortable spacious bedrooms, one is en-suite and the
other has an adjoining private bathroom with walk in shower and
corner bath, a picture can be seen on this site.
Both rooms have a double and a single bed all with duvets,
cotton sheets and soft towels, there is ample space for an
additional camp bed if required.
Each has tea/coffee and biscuits as well and a television and
DVD player.
Breakfast is served in the dining area with separate tables.
A full English breakfast is served with our own free range eggs.
Various options are available including continental with cheese
and
ham, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice.
Guests have access to rooms at all times.
Non smoking
I am sorry there are no facilities for pets.

Directions:
Following the A3078 road towards St Mawes having left the main
A390 trunk road between St Austell and Truro. From the B3287
Tregony junction continue towards St Mawes for a further 1.5
miles, the entrance to Penhesken Farm is on the right. It is
approximately 150 yards before the Jet petrol station on your
left.
Locally:
Penhesken Farm is on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula surrounded
by lovely countryside, little coves, sandy beaches, wild
headlands, stretching down to the popular little resort of St
Mawes.
Beaches:
Carne and Pendower are just a short drive away, soft sand and
safe bathing.
Pubs and restaurants:
An excellent choice within a short drive.
St Mawes:
A popular little resort across the estuary from Falmouth.
Excellent boat trips can be enjoyed from here including a
regular passenger ferry to Falmouth.
Truro City:
A small cathedral city just 30 minutes drive away.
Both the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a
short drive.
Touring:
Take the famous King Harry car ferry across the River Fal and
the whole of the Lizard Peninsula is available, from Falmouth
down to Lizard Point.
Your hosts are local to the area and will be only too happy to
recommend places to visit or that good restaurant or pub.
