Nut Cottage is in the grounds of Nansladron Farm in the Pentewan Valley. Close to the Pentewan Valley Trail - part of the Cornish Way cycling, walking and equine trail - and midway between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Nut Cottage is roughly half-a-mile down the valley to the coast at Pentewan with a large, safe and sandy beach.

Cottage rates are seasonal and based from £290 upto £630 per week . We are also able to offer a short stay arrangement based from £50 - £95 per night [ 2 night minimum charge].

Gorran Haven and Gorren Cliffs

Locally:
Nansladron Farm is set in its own extensive grounds in the picturesque Pentewan Valley between the market town of St Austell and the popular fishing village of Mevagissey.
A footpath/cycle track runs past the front of the farm alongside the Pentewan River. This is a pleasant walk into Pentewan Village or into the many paths in the adjoining Kings Wood.
The nearest village is Pentewan, just a few minutes drive away, with cycle hire, a nice pub, a few shops and access onto a lovely sandy beach.
The old fishing village of Mevagissey in only a 5 minute drive, this is a very popular destination for many visitors. It has a good selection of pubs/restaurants/speciality shops. Boat trips are available from the harbour including a passenger ferry to Fowey taking in all the local headlands.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan is only a 5 minute drive.
The Eden Project is approx. 20 mins. away depending on traffic in high season
Nearby destinations include:
Fowey - at the mouth of the River Fowey, nice walks and boat trips
Charlestown - Tall Ships
Gorran Haven - a nice beach and a pleasant walk across the cliffs to Vault Beach taking in the Dodman Point

A little futher afield:
The cathedral city of Truro - a very nice city with good shopping and lovely cathedral (30 mins)
The Roseland Peninsular with St Mawes and it many little coves with a 30 min drive
North coast resorts of Newquay and Padstow are about 45 mins. drive

Nansladron is near St Austell which is central in the county, virtually anywhere can be reached within an hour
