Fowey is one of the deepest natural harbours in
the world, not only small boats both motor and sailing can be
seen but also the occasional liner and cargo boats making their
way up the river.
The apartment is within an easy walk of the town centre. Fowey
is a popular destination offering with numerous small shops,
restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. There are some lovely river
side walks out to the headland or just take a ferry over to
Polruan and enjoy both cliff top and woodland walks.
There is also a passenger ferry to Mevagissey taking in all the
headlands and beaches en-route, just enjoy the journey, spend a
few hours in this popular fishing village and return to Fowey.
The nearest sandy beaches are at Polkerris and Par (about a 10
minute drive).
Nearby major attractions include The Eden Project, Lost Gardens
of Heligan and Lanhydrock House, all are within a short drive.
