A very pleasant house in a quiet location on the edge of the
market town of St Austell. The proprietor is an experienced cook
and unusually the guest house offers the option of an evening
meal.
This is an ideal location for exploring this part of Cornwall
with the added advantage of having major attractions such as The
Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan within a short drive.
The town centre is also just a short walk away.
The accommodation:
Decorated and tastefully furnished to a high standard this is a
small guest house with two bedrooms available:
A double/twin with ensuite facilities
A double with an adjoining private bathroom
Bedrooms are equipped with television and complimentary
refreshment tray.
Guests have access to rooms at all times
The dining room is spacious with a full English breakfast
provided. Various options are available including vegetarian and
continental.
An evening meal can be provided by prior arrangement. These are
available at £15 00p per person and provide excellent value.
A large conservatory overlooks the garden where guests are quite
welcome to relax with perhaps a glass of wine.

Directions:
On the A390 St Austell By-Pass travelling west. You will come to
a right turn marked A3058 Newquay. Take this road and almost
immediately you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go
straight on towards Newquay and about 100 yards beyond the
lights turn left into Mount Stephen Close, the guest house is on
your left.

Numerous restaurants/pubs within a short drive.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan a 10 min drive
Several excellent gardens close by.
Charlestown with its tall ships and maritime centre a 5 min
drive.
Mevagissey, a working fishing village with narrow cobbled
streets and picturesque harbour is just 10 mins away.
Fowey, at the mouth of the River Fowey 20 mins.
Local beaches and headland walks.
Touring:
St Austell is near the centre of Cornwall and most places can be
reached within an hour's drive.
This includes:
North coast resorts such as Newquay and Padstow (approx 30 mins)
City of Truro, 20 mins.
The whole of the Roseland Peninsula down to St Mawes is just a
short drive.
