LOCATION

HAY BARTON is surrounded by its own land, making it quiet and tranquil and a perfect place to relax and unwind. It is in a central position with St Mawes, Truro and many famous gardens within 15 minutes drive. The North coast is only half an hour away and St Ives about 40 minutes. We are close to Carne and Pendower beaches with are sandy and safe for swimming

ACCOMMODATION

There is a cosy sitting room for guests use where we put out afternoon tea for you to help yoursleves.
Our bedrooms are spacious, light and extremely comfortable with fresh flowers. The beds are sup king Relyon 6ft doubles with White Company cotton sheets and blankets. The decor blends Farrow and Ball's gentle colours with Colefax and Fowler wallpaper and fabric.
Breakfasts start with home made Aga yoghurt, home made delicious granola and fresh fruit. Award winning Apple Juice from Cornish Orchards. Our Bacon and sausages are from the Award winning Kernow Sausage company and grilled in the Aga for a healthy delicious breakfast. Rodda butter, Cornish Sea Salt, delicious breads, homemade marmalade all make for a brilliant start to the day.
There is a tennis court which guests are welcome to use. Croquet for the summer months and an undercover ping pong table in less than perfect weather!

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Pendennis Point and Castle overlooking Carrick Roads. Forming part of one of the world's deepest natural harbours it offers world class sailing. For the less adventurous there are various boat trips, including St Mawes and an extremely picturesque journey up the river to Truro.

DIRECTIONS

From Tregony village take the A3078 towards St Mawes. Hay Barton is one mile on the left hand side from Tregony. There is a slate sign at eye level at the end of the farm lane. There is also a holly tree and a road traffic triangle bend sign and the word SLOW on the road. The farmhouse is 100 yards down this lane.
