Lusty Glaze is the furthest north of the main
Newquay town beaches. It is slightly more exposed
than the others and this tends to increase the size
of the surf.
Like all Newquay beaches it has excellent sand
quality.
Family friendly beach and also has a superb extreme
sports center:- Coasteering, Zip wire across the
cliff, absailing, Surf Lessons. Also home of The
National Life Guard Training Center. The beach is
often used for surfing contests and is famous for
the Fat face Night Surf event in June. Fantastic
firework displays and the event finale is the
display of The Red Arrows over the beach.
Services include:
Beach Restaurant
Toilets
Lifeguard
No dogs
