Crinnis beach:
situated at popular Carlyon Bay on the outskirts of
St Austell.
Almost a mile long this beach is divided into three
beaches:
Crinnis
Shorthorn
Polgavers
The sand is quite course and mostly made up of china
clay waste. Once quite popular with locals and
visitors alike it is now undergoing a massive
redevelopement and is not a recommended destination.
