Watergate Bay is
a Surfing and Watersports Mecca! With the Extreme Academy and the
Jamie Oliver Restaurant 'Fifteen' which has just opened right on the
beach at Watergate Bay.
The location of Fifteen Cornwall is spectacular. The view from your
table is of two miles of glorious beach; the sunsets over the ocean
are mesmerising. Watergate Bay itself, surrounded by beautiful
coastline in one direction and rolling countryside in the other,
offers so much – a fabulous contemporary beach lifestyle with a
total dedication to relaxation, an astonishing range of adrenaline
sports and great places to stay - it’s a perfect escape from the
stress of the daily grind.
You’ll find Watergate Bay on the Atlantic coast between Newquay and
Padstow – and it’s easier to get to than ever before. Newquay
Airport, only two miles away, has daily links with an increasing
number of regional airports around the UK, including London (6
flights a day), Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol,
Cardiff, Teeside and Dublin.
Travelling by road is simple – take the M5 to Exeter, then the A30,
which is dual carriageway most of the way, takes you almost to our
door.
Taking the train is a quick and relaxing way to get to Cornwall. The
rail service from London and other main line stations to Bodmin
Parkway (north-east of Watergate Bay) is fast and frequent, while
Newquay station, on the branch line, is just a few minutes drive
away. For a little added luxury, the daily sleeper service from
London Paddington (which stops at Bodmin) offers a great way to
arrive in style
