picturesque town and the premier resort for west Cornwall
featuring one the finest natural deep water harbours in the

its main attractions are its harbour and excellent beaches.

has become a centre for sailing enthusiasts with excellent safe
moorings and marine facilities.

main beaches are Maenporth, Castle, Gyllyngvase and Swanpool,
they are of excellent quality and offer safe bathing.

town centre includes a wide range of retail outlets including
high street names, craft shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs.

From
the quay there is a wide choice of boat trips/ferries.
An excellent choice is a trip up the river to Truro, just
enjoy the scenery, spend a few hours in the Cathedral city
before a return journey.

Fishing:
include deep sea, shark, trips around the bay for
mackeral or shore fishing off one of the many quays or rocky
outcrops.
Catches can be excellent.

Roseland Peninsula can be reached via the King Harry ferry.
