Just north of
Boscastle
a pleasant little cove sheltered by 400 feet high cliffs.
The actual cove consists only of a few houses, two beach shops and a
very good Inn which is virtually on the beach.
It is a popular destination for both visitors and locals alike, it
offers good bathing, excellent surfing when conditions permit, some
nice rock pools for children to explore.
Excellent walks can be enjoyed on the cliff paths but care should be
taken as some can be difficult.
Nearby, and overlooking
Strangles
Beach is 'High Cliff', the highest point on the
Cornish coast rising some 735 feet above sea level.
