About Boscastle
A picturesque resort set on the rugged North
Cornwall coast, much of it owned and protected by
the
National
Trust. The harbour was built in
1584 by Sir Richard Grenville.
Just before low tide when the sea is rough a blow
hole sends spray cascading across the harbour mouth.
The village provides basic shopping, a wide choice
of accommodation and not forgetting its three inns,
three rivers and three churches.
